Selection Guidelines And Daily Maintenance Notes For Fully‑Automatic Brick Making Machines
When purchasing fully‑automatic brick making machines, do not merely refer to nominal parameters. Comprehensive evaluation shall be carried out from multiple dimensions including capacity matching, hardware configuration, mould adaptability and operation‑maintenance conditions according to actual production conditions, so as to ensure stable equipment operation and qualified finished‑product output after commissioning.
In terms of production capacity, output varies greatly among different models. Capacity is jointly affected by brick specifications, forming cycles and continuous‑operation duration. Even with the same set of equipment, output figures differ significantly when producing small standard bricks and large‑size hollow blocks. During model selection, actual output shall be calculated based on main target products rather than theoretical maximum capacity provided by manufacturers. Distinction shall also be made between theoretical capacity and stable continuous‑production capacity. Actual output is lower than theoretical values due to raw‑material fluctuation, maintenance shutdown and mould replacement.
Key hardware components include hydraulic systems, vibration systems, control systems and mould parts. Hydraulic stations provide power for forming and pressing. The quality of sealing components influences long‑term equipment operation. Vibration mechanisms generate excitation force for material compaction. Models with adjustable vibration frequency can adapt to different materials and green‑brick thickness. PLC control systems with fault prompting and parameter storage functions facilitate operator commissioning. Moulds determine the dimension and appearance of green bricks. Mould material and processing accuracy affect product appearance and service life. Moulds are consumable parts and spare‑part reserves are needed in later periods. Confirm the convenience of mould replacement during procurement. For scenarios requiring frequent switching of brick types, mould structures with simple disassembly‑assembly procedures are preferred.
Supporting‑condition matching shall also be assessed. A fully‑automatic production line consists of multiple single units connected by conveying equipment, including batching machines, mixers, main forming units and stacking mechanisms. Complete plant layout planning is required, with reserved space for raw‑material stacking, equipment placement, green‑brick curing and finished‑product storage. The total installed power of equipment is relatively high. Plant power‑supply capacity shall be calculated in advance for stable power matching. Foundation construction shall follow drawings provided by equipment suppliers to avoid vibration offset in later operation.
Standardised daily maintenance after equipment commissioning can reduce shutdown risks. Daily inspections cover hydraulic‑oil level and quality, sealing conditions for leakage, tightening status of vibration motors and transmission components. Loose bolts shall be tightened in a timely manner. Residual mixtures on distributing mechanisms and mould cavities shall be cleaned to prevent material caking that disturbs brick forming. Sensors and proximity switches shall be checked regularly to guarantee accurate signal collection. Hydraulic oil, lubricants and wearing parts shall be replaced as specified in equipment manuals.
Operators shall receive basic training and get familiar with operation procedures. Process parameters shall not be modified arbitrarily. In case of defective green bricks or insufficient compaction during production, check raw‑material proportioning, material moisture content, material‑distribution status, pressure and vibration parameters first, instead of adjusting hardware blindly. Power cut and pressure relief shall be implemented for equipment maintenance to avoid safety hazards caused by unintended mechanical movement.
Objectively evaluate equipment performance. Fully‑automatic brick making machines can stably complete forming procedures. Yet finished‑product quality is jointly determined by raw‑material proportioning, curing technology and operation management. Qualified concrete brick products complying with national standards can be continuously manufactured only with coordinated execution of the whole process.
