        In March 2026, the national standard of "Technical Specification for Construction Waste Pollution Control" was officially implemented, marking a new stage of strict management and high-value utilization of construction waste management in China. As an important equipment that connects solid waste treatment with the production of new building materials, the application value of PC brick machines has further emerged. Currently, many people's understanding of PC brick machines only stays at the surface level of "brick making equipment", and their understanding of their important role in solid waste resource utilization, green building material production, and new policy adaptation is limited. This article combines relevant knowledge in the industry and provides a detailed interpretation of the PC brick machine from new perspectives such as new policy adaptation, technical characteristics, solid waste utilization, and usage and maintenance. It helps relevant practitioners and interested readers to gain a deeper understanding of this building materials production equipment that is in line with industry development trends.

        Firstly, it needs to be clarified that PC brick machine is a specialized mechanical equipment used for processing precast concrete bricks and small precast components, where "PC" is the English abbreviation for precast concrete. Compared with ordinary brick making equipment, its main advantage lies not in a single brick making function, but in its good adaptability to solid waste raw materials and standardized production level. Unlike traditional brick making equipment that requires a sintering process, PC brick machines rely on standardized molding techniques to process various raw materials such as cement, sand and gravel, recycled aggregates, and industrial waste into bricks that meet engineering standards. In municipal engineering and old city renovation projects, fully automatic PC brick machines can quickly supply municipal bricks such as sidewalk bricks and curbstones, ensuring orderly progress of the project; In the field of ecological restoration, PC brick machine processed ecological slope protection bricks can be used for ecological protection of rivers and mountains, achieving an organic combination of ecological protection and building material utilization.

        In the actual use of PC brick machines, it is inevitable that some common faults will occur, which will affect production efficiency. Therefore, mastering basic fault handling methods is of practical significance for ensuring production continuity. For example, when the device experiences an automatic return fault of the push-pull mold, it is often caused by damage to the solenoid valve coil or a short circuit in the circuit. This can be resolved by replacing the solenoid valve coil or repairing the circuit; If there are cracks or mold sticking problems with the blocks, it is likely that the raw materials are too coarse, the moisture ratio is improper, or there are burrs on the bottom mold. This can be solved by adjusting the fineness of the raw materials, optimizing the moisture ratio, or removing the burrs on the bottom mold. In addition, daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment, regular inspection of vulnerable parts, and standardized operating procedures can effectively reduce the occurrence of equipment failures and extend the service life of equipment.

        With the continuous improvement of environmental policies and the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry, the PC brick machine industry is steadily developing towards green, intelligent, and flexible directions. The strict requirements of the new policy on the disposal of construction waste have forced relevant enterprises to update and upgrade their PC brick machine equipment, further enhancing the equipment's solid waste adaptability and environmental performance; The integration of intelligent technology enables PC brick machines to gradually achieve remote operation and precise control of production parameters, reducing human intervention while improving production stability; The development of flexible production technology enables a PC brick machine to produce various types of bricks, adapt to the needs of different scenarios, and effectively improve equipment utilization. At present, the technological level of domestically produced PC brick machines continues to improve, and core components are gradually being localized. On the basis of meeting domestic market demand, they are also gradually moving towards overseas markets, demonstrating good development prospects.

        For enterprises with the need to purchase PC brick machines, they should choose suitable equipment based on their own production scale, raw material supply situation, and new policy compliance requirements. If small-scale and multi category production is the main focus, small and medium-sized semi-automatic equipment can be selected to balance production flexibility and cost control; If large-scale and standardized production is planned, fully automated intelligent models can better improve production efficiency and ensure product consistency.
