        In the field of building material production, fully automatic brick making machines have become key equipment for enhancing production efficiency and ensuring product quality. With the increasing demand for bricks in the construction industry and the increasingly stringent quality standards, fully automatic brick making machines, with their automated features, occupy an increasingly important position in the brick making industry. Understanding their working principles, equipment composition, technical advantages, and application scenarios is of great significance for optimizing the brick making production process.

        The working principle of a fully automatic brick making machine

        The fully automatic brick making machine primarily completes the brick making process through the coordinated operation of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Firstly, raw materials such as cement, sand, gravel, fly ash, etc., are accurately measured by the batching system according to the preset formula and then transported to the mixer. The mixer mixes the various raw materials thoroughly and evenly through high-speed stirring, forming a material with good plasticity and cohesiveness. The mixed material is then sent to the forming machine via a conveyor.

        The molding machine is the core component of the brick making machine, often utilizing a molding method that combines hydraulic drive with vibrational compression. Under the action of the hydraulic system, pressure is applied to the material inside the mold, while the vibration device generates high-frequency vibrations, prompting the material to quickly fill the mold under the dual effects of pressure and vibration, and expel the internal air, making the brick body denser. For different types of fully automatic brick making machines, the molding parameters such as pressure level, vibration frequency, and time can be flexibly adjusted according to the brick type and raw material characteristics to ensure that the produced bricks meet quality standards. The molded brick bodies are conveyed by an automatic conveyor device to the subsequent curing process.

        Equipment composition and core components

        Ingredient system
        The batching system typically consists of storage bins, feeding devices, and electronic metering equipment. The storage bins are used to store various raw materials, and the feeding devices accurately control the delivery volume of each raw material according to the instructions of the control system. The error of the electronic metering equipment can be controlled within ±1%, ensuring the accuracy of the batching ratio and laying the foundation for the stability of brick quality.

        Mixing system

        The mixers in the mixing system mostly adopt dual-shaft forced mixers, with specially designed mixing blades that can achieve uniform mixing of materials in a short period of time. Based on the common practice of mixing 1 cubic meter of material per batch, the mixing time generally does not exceed 3 minutes, and the mixing uniformity can reach over 95%, ensuring the consistency of the materials.

        Molding system

        The core of the molding system is the molding machine, which includes a hydraulic station, molds, and a vibration device. The hydraulic station provides stable pressure, with a common working pressure of 16MPa-25MPa, to meet the pressure requirements of different brick types. The molds are made of steel and processed to ensure dimensional errors are controlled within ±0.5mm. They can be quickly replaced according to production needs, enabling the production of multiple brick types. The vibration frequency of the vibration device can be adjusted within the range of 10Hz-50Hz, and through the synergistic effect with pressure, it ensures the compactness of the brick billet.

        Conveying and palletizing system

        The conveying system, consisting of belt conveyors and chain conveyors, is responsible for transporting the mixed materials to the forming machine and conveying the formed brick bodies to the curing and palletizing areas. The conveying speed can be adjusted according to the production pace, generally ranging from 1m/s to 3m/s. The palletizing system employs automated palletizing equipment, which can neatly stack the brick bodies according to the preset palletizing method. The palletizing efficiency can reach up to 500-1000 brick bodies per hour, enhancing production efficiency and reducing manual labor intensity.

        Technical advantages

        High automation

        The fully automatic brick making machine adopts computer control throughout the entire production process, from batching, mixing, molding to palletizing, without requiring significant manual intervention. Operators only need to input production parameters on the control interface, and the equipment can operate automatically, effectively reducing labor costs. According to industry statistics, compared to traditional brick making methods, the use of fully automatic brick making machines can reduce labor by 50%-70%, and the impact of human factors on product quality during the production process is significantly reduced, resulting in a 30%-40% improvement in product quality stability.

        Improve efficiency and conserve energy

        In terms of production efficiency, the fully automatic brick making machine boasts a short molding cycle. Taking the production of common standard bricks as an example, the molding cycle can be controlled between 15s and 25s, with an hourly output of 3000-5000 bricks, which is 2-3 times that of traditional brick making equipment. Meanwhile, through measures such as optimizing the hydraulic system design and adopting energy-saving motors, the equipment can reduce energy consumption by 20%-30% compared to similar traditional equipment.

        Product diversification

        By replacing molds of different specifications and types, the fully automatic brick making machine can produce a variety of brick shapes, including standard bricks, hollow bricks, perforated bricks, paving bricks, and slope protection bricks. It can meet the needs of different fields such as building walls, road paving, and water conservancy projects. In the application of building walls, bricks of different strength levels can be produced according to the load-bearing requirements of the walls. In terms of road paving, paving bricks with anti-slip and wear-resistant properties can be produced.

        Application scenario

        The field of construction engineering

        In the construction of residential and commercial buildings, standard bricks and hollow bricks produced by fully automatic brick-making machines are widely used for wall masonry. According to relevant data from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the proportion of new buildings using machine-made bricks as wall materials exceeds 80%, with a significant portion produced by fully automatic brick-making machines. The bricks produced by these machines meet the required dimensions and strength standards, effectively ensuring the stability and thermal insulation performance of walls.

        Municipal engineering field

        In the construction of municipal roads, sidewalk bricks, square bricks, and revetment bricks used in water conservancy projects are mostly produced by fully automatic brick-making machines. For instance, in urban sidewalk renovation projects, color pavement bricks produced by fully automatic brick-making machines are widely used due to their characteristics that meet the operational requirements. In water conservancy revetment projects, the revetment bricks produced by these machines exhibit excellent anti-erosion properties, effectively ensuring the safety of dams.

        Production of environmentally friendly building materials

        The fully automatic brick making machine can make extensive use of industrial waste residues such as fly ash, slag, coal gangue, etc. as raw materials, achieving comprehensive resource utilization and environmentally friendly production. Taking fly ash as an example, in brick production, the proportion of fly ash can reach 30%-50%, which not only reduces production costs but also mitigates the environmental pollution caused by industrial waste residues, aligning with the national industrial policy of green development.
